CleanFuel USA 6.0-Liter System

The CleanFuel USA system incorporates a General Motors 6.0-liter engine and mono-fueled liquid propane injection technology to produce the same performance as gasoline-powered engines, but with fewer greenhouse gas emissions. Designed to convert fleets, such as passenger vans, shuttle buses, walk-in vans, and utility and service vehicles to operate on propane, the versatile 6.0-liter engine system can be fitted in light-duty, heavy light-duty, and medium-duty GM trucks and vans.

Adoption of the CleanFuel USA system could have a positive impact on reducing emissions and getting greener vehicles on the road. In addition, annual sales of the GM 6.0-liter engine have the potential to exceed 4,000 vehicles, which could generate more than 8 million gallons of new propane demand each year.

The CleanFuel USA 6.0-liter system offers the following benefits:
•    Provides the same horsepower, torque, and performance as similar gasoline-powered engines.
•    Produces 25 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline when used in certain trucks.
•    Meets Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board emissions standards.
•    Increases propane demand — annual sales of the system could generate more than 8 million gallons of new propane demand each year.
